Shinesoft Systems is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It was founded in 1997 by Peter Michalek.

Peter's previous experience includes heading up the Reusable Components Group at NetManage Inc. His team developed the IntraNet NEWT Controls, formerly known as the Internet Control Pack, an encapsulation of InterNet protocols in ActiveX controls.

This product was licensed by Microsoft, Borland, PowerSoft and other companies and shipped with Microsoft VB5, Borland's Delphi and PowerSoft's Optima++.
