ShinePrint Server Demo

ShinePrint Server Demo can be used by IPP compliant clients to submit jobs, inquire about job status or execute other IPP commands.

New features:

Support for Set 1 operations, including
  • Pause, Resume Printer and Purge Jobs
  • Hold, Release and Restart job

Detailed steps of how to use the demo

  • You'll need an IPP client. If you don't have one, you can download the ShineSoft IPP client.
  • In your IPP client, specify the following url: http://www.shinesoft.com/sp/ipp.cgi.
    Alternatively, you can specify a url using the ipp scheme if your ipp client supports this new feature of IPP: ipp://www.shinesoft.com:80/sp/ipp.cgi
  • When printing, use one of document formats supported by the printer. In the current configuration, the supported format are:
    • application/postscript
    • text/plain
    application/postscriptis the default.
Note: this demo server doesn't support chunking.
